A standard nozzle pushes the BB with a flat front. The BB can sit a little differently every time it loads, and air can escape around it. The name of this\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003estep nozzle\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003etells you the shape: 6 mm at the tip, then it steps up to 7 mm. The 6 mm front guides the BB into place. The step closes tighter against the inner O-ring of the ROTO.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat does that mean on the field? Three things.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eBetter BB positioning\u003c\/b\u003e, because every BB sits in the same spot before the shot. A\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003ebetter air seal\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ebetween the nozzle and the ROTO, so less air is lost on the way. And less\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003emid-cap syndrome\u003c\/b\u003e: fewer of the feeding and consistency problems many players get with mid-cap magazines. Put together, you get more\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003econsistent shots\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003efrom your\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eHPA engine\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe body is made of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003ePOM\u003c\/b\u003e, a strong and low friction engineering plastic. It is a common choice for airsoft nozzles because it moves smoothly and holds its shape shot after shot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Step Nozzle 67 gives its best with the full MechLabs setup, but it is not locked to it.
